We have been running our charity day since 1995 in support of mainly local, smaller, often underfunded, charities which have included: Bedelsford School, Malden & Coombe Old Peoples’ Welfare, Mental Aid, McMillan Nurses, Princess Alice Trust, Shooting Star, Sargent Cancer Trust, Malden Social Blind, Spartans Swimming Club, Warren Park - Action for Children (a respite centre), Fulham Football Community Project. More recently: Young Carers of New Malden and Kingston, Born too Soon, the Neo-Natal Clinic at Kingston Hospital and the Fircroft Trust, who with our contribution were able to open their doors for Christmas last year. In that period of time we have raised over £300,000. We try to support five charities every year, often on a rotating basis so that we can make a meaningful contribution to support our chosen charities.

Charity Day

Each year, usually on the first or second Wednesday in July, our charity day is held which includes an 18 hole golf competition, a fine lunch (served as part of the entry fee), an Auction and other activities to ensure the day is fun and enjoyable for all participants. Our chosen charities are also invited to represent themselves and help out with the smooth running of the day.

Entry forms can be obtained from the Malden Golf Club office (Tel. No. 020 8942 0654 email ?manager@maldengolfclub.com)

Each of the 18 holes and tees can be sponsored. If you wish to sponsor either a hole or a tee, your company logo/or name will be displayed at that location. The fee for sponsorship is shown on the entry form. If you want to donate a prize to us please contact the golf club office.

Teams of four players (members or members and their guests) play, normally in a stableford competition, competing for some great prizes.
