Men's Golf

Monthly Competitions - Held on the first Saturday of each month – split into two divisions, up to 14 and 15 and over – morning round in three balls as per start sheet, afternoon in two/three balls, from approx’ 11.45 am – no start sheet.

Midweek Medals - Usually held on middle Wednesday – no start sheet – entry fee to pro shop on the day.

Major One Day Events - In the club diary in capitals – morning as per start sheet, afternoon from approx’ 11.45 am – score cards must be in by 5.45 pm – play offs if required at 6 pm – prizes sponsored by past captains and presented at 6.30 pm – winners and runners up must attend the presentation and give a short thank you speech – The entry fee pays for all the drinks at the presentation.

Matchplay Events - Singles, fourball and foursomes knockouts played throughout the year, culminating in 36 hole refereed finals and presentations – all players are equally responsible in ensuring that the ‘to be played by’ dates are adhered to - entry fee must be paid to the pro shop before your first match is played.

Club Matches - Members wishing to play in 1st leg of any club match may put their name on a list in the locker room in January – return leg teams are usually made up of those that played in the 1st leg – matches are played around 9 am and are followed by light resfreshment

Start sheets for all monthly and major one day competitions will go on the board and online at exactly 1 pm two weeks to the day before the event.
