bigpic
Well round 19 yesterday evening was a big field, with 34 players taking part (which is the 3rd highest attendance this year).

The format of 5 clubs or less, (with more shots given for having less clubs) went down a treat.

There were some that tried it with one club, and certainly there was a little less time over the ball. Even Bryson De Chambeu would have been swift....maybe .
The leader board was crowded at the summit, with a four way tie for the win.

Luke Kirby
Mike Lower
Nick Gregori
Mick Packer

All had 21 points and share first place. The only one in the top position who had not previously won and therefore qualified for the “Players Championship” on the 3rd September was Mick Packer. So Mick gets in to the finale in two weeks time!

Each winner gets £33 to spend in the Pro Shop.

There was one two from Chris Ullathorne – collect your ball from me the next time you see me.

A little further back there was a 5 way tie on 20 points, and receiving no prize money , but getting a “well done” in this week’s dispatches, were the quintet of

Andy Green
Marcus Godwin
Ian Cameron
Chris Ullathorne
Nigel Gills

(Well done!)

Order of Merit

There is only one week remaining with order of merit points at stake, and there are three people at the top who could potentially win, depending on the points achieved by the others within the triumvirate. They are

1 Dominic Bunning 62.66
2 Philip Ruby 59.6
3 John Henry 57.78

Next week is a back nine stableford – with it all to play for. There are three more qualifying places up for grabs-

1. The winner next week
2. The highest place in the order of merit not already qualified
3. The most attendances not already qualified (currently leading this route is Puneet Jasuja with 13 appearances!)

Have a great week
